De tempos em tempos, a humanidade é confrontada por situações que a impõem significativas mudanças sociais e comportamentais. Indiscutivelmente, vivemos um desses momentos.
A crise gerada pelo novo Coronavírus surgiu e se alastrou rapidamente, determinando diretrizes essenciais à manutenção de vidas humanas. Dentre as medidas adotadas, destaca-se, principalmente, a obrigatoriedade do isolamento social. Não cabe a nós, neste texto, discutir a eficiência ou não de sua implementação, uma vez que critérios técnicos e científicos, os quais não dominamos, são utilizados para sua determinação. Fato é, apenas, que estamos submetidos a esse isolamento.
Assim, o que antes era considerado parte do cotidiano de muitos, passou a ser algo evitado e, se necessário, feito de forma distinta à habitual, observando todos os cuidados relativos à prevenção de contágio e disseminação do vírus.
Contudo, gostaríamos de trazer uma abordagem positiva sobre toda essa situação. Embora sejam amplamente divulgados os efeitos catastróficos da pandemia, ela nos permitiu um momento de introspecção e profunda reflexão, sobretudo, sobre os valores que atribuímos a determinadas pessoas, profissões, momentos…
Tendemos a não valorizar aquilo que temos no período em que temos, deixando para fazê-lo no momento em que perdemos, ou temos certa limitação a algo anteriormente irrestrito.
Hoje, de forma cristalina, percebemos o valor de um abraço, de um momento ao lado de uma pessoa querida, de uma reunião familiar em um final de semana, de um encontro com amigos, de uma aula presencial, momentos que, antes, por serem considerados “comuns”, não eram percebidos e valorizados por nós conforme seu real significado.
Ressaltamos que não estamos negligenciando as perdas que muitos tiveram ou as dificuldades que ainda estão por vir, todavia, acreditamos que a mudança em nossas prioridades, causadas pelas novas circunstâncias, poderá ocasionar grande amadurecimento, o que, se externado e mantido, nos proporcionará grandes evoluções, em especial, nos permitirá ser uma sociedade melhor.
Gostaríamos de agradecer a todos os profissionais que continuam trabalhando para que muitos possam ficar em casa, em segurança, como médicos, enfermeiros, caminhoneiros, funcionários de supermercados, padarias, farmácias, limpeza urbana, dentre tantos outros. A vocês, nosso muito obrigado.
