Primeiramente, vamos sair da caixa?
Em 2015, com o advento da Cúpula das Nações Unidas, em Nova Iorque, foram estabelecidos os 17 ODS (Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável). Com isso, houve uma grande mudança no mercado de trabalho e, desde então, tornou-se essencial ao profissional que atua, direta ou indiretamente, na área ambiental, ser capacitado para propor ações que estejam alinhadas aos ODS e suas respectivas metas. Aliado a isso, podemos identificar dois entraves na qualidade da formação desse profissional, bem como em seu espaço de atuação: a dependência ao capital baseada numa lógica tecnicista e mercantilizada, e a fragmentação do saber. Isso porque há uma dicotomia entre conhecimento filosófico e científico. É preciso ser transdisciplinar: conhecer e englobar os marcos teóricos e metodológicos de outras áreas. Além disso, é preciso estabelecer uma ponte de diálogos entre o meio acadêmico e o conhecimento do mercado de trabalho – claro, com equilíbrio!
Educação ambiental rural?
A educação ambiental não é uma disciplina isolada, mas permeia diversas áreas, é um instrumento de empoderamento da sociedade. Para se abordar a sustentabilidade no meio rural, é crucial compreender os instrumentos da PNMA (Política Nacional de Meio Ambiente), que norteiam as abordagens pedagógicas e de comunicação para esse público específico. No site do Ministério do Meio Ambiente, há um documento (texto-base) muito importante, discutido em 2003 e publicado em 2008, que trata da Educomunicação socioambiental como forma de comunicação popular e educação. Ele é um valioso instrumento para a abordagem da sustentabilidade, que deve ser considerado durante as intervenções realizadas no meio rural. O estado de Minas Gerais possui como aspecto legal a Deliberação Normativa do COPAM nº 214/17, que trata do Programa de Educação Ambiental para o Licenciamento. Uma das exigências desse Programa é a construção de um DSP (Diagnóstico Socioambiental Participativo) – derivado do Diagnóstico Rural Rápido – DRP (década de 70) e seus respectivos aperfeiçoamentos. Tal diagnóstico é de suma importância para compreender o perfil das comunidades trabalhadas, bem como suas visões e demandas socioambientais.
E o cenário pós-COVID?
No cenário pós-COVID, imagino que existirá uma tendência das pessoas migrarem do meio urbano em direção ao campo – o que nos deixa um alerta! Com o grande volume de êxodo urbano, ocorrerão desmatamentos das áreas verdes, o que implica a perda de hábitat e, consequentemente, deslocamentos de animais silvestres. Isso desencadeia, ainda, no aumento das chances de contanto com vetores de doenças e possíveis patógenos ainda não conhecidos, o que é um problema sério!
Você está agindo local?
A Agenda 21, um instrumento que norteia as ações sustentáveis em diversas esferas, engloba uma série de documentos, projetados para tratar da questão socioambiental em forma de didática. Adotou-se o seguinte slogan: “Pensar global e agir local”. Agir local é atuar como ser humano, em sua individualidade, unidade. Por exemplo, você pode realizar a coleta seletiva, evitar o consumo de itens supérfluos, atuar politicamente… Já o Pensar global é justamente considerar que, ainda que sejamos uma unidade, estamos inseridos num sistema maior, que é o planeta.
Por falar nisso, você sabia que existem reuniões em associações de bairro? Em BH, há os territórios de gestão compartilhada, que contemplam temas como meio ambiente, saneamento e ecossistemas! Muitos projetos para regionais não são aprovados por falta de cidadãos que atuem de forma participativa.

Nós temos tendência a demonizar a política, mas pecamos na nossa atuação política em níveis regionais. Muitas pessoas não atuam nem nas associações de bairro. Já reparou? Isso gera uma sensação de não retorno mais na frente! Numa sociedade politicamente organizada, esse retorno somente virá pelas vias legislativas, em forma de cumprimento de lei, então devemos nos organizar e melhorar nossa participação política no contexto construtivo para o bem coletivo.
Segundo especialistas, 2030 é a data limite para o colapso completo do sistema econômico. Aproveite o tempo de crise para refletir sobre como tudo está interligado: da desigualdade social aos impactos ambientais.
